LI JIANG OLD TOWN

YUNNAN PROVINCE, CHINA

Elected as World Culture Heritage, Lijiang Old Town is also called Dayan Ancient Town. Built during late Song Dynasty and early Yuan Dynasty (late 13th century), the 7.279 sq.km area is endowed with beautiful scenery and large clusters of preserved ancient buildings where visitors can meander through the market square, Mufu Mansion, Wangu Tower and a Museum of 10,000 relics.

Other more renowned places would be Beijing and Shanghai where ancient history meets new energy, where you could endeavor to scale the 13,000 miles long Great Wall of China or have a tipple at The Bund, along Shanghai's futuristic skyline.
